Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit sandbound.de. The short version: we don't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.

Who is responsible

Sandbound is run by Timo Radecke, Germany. You can reach us at hello@sandbound.de. Because the site is operated from Germany, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

Server log files

Like every website, sandbound.de runs on a web server, provided by ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich, Germany). When you open a page, the server automatically records technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider stores these logs only for a limited period and processes them on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We don't combine log data with any other source.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

We don't set cookies and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are stored on our own server, so no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service is made.

Links to other websites

We link to Instagram, YouTube and other external sites. These are plain links, not embedded content: nothing is loaded from those services until you click. Once you do, their own privacy policies apply.

Affiliate links

Some pages, in particular the travel shop, may contain affiliate links, for example to Amazon. They are marked "Ad". If you click one, the shop may set cookies in your browser to attribute a purchase to us. That happens on the shop's website and under its privacy policy; we only receive aggregated commission reports, never your name or order details.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, unless we have to keep it by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time which data we hold about you, and request that it is corrected, deleted or restricted, or handed over in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one in the EU country where you live.

Children

Sandbound is not aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We will update this page when the site changes, for example when a newsletter launches. The date at the top shows the current version.
